The Scoville rating is a measurement of the spicy heat of chili peppers or spicy foods. It is named after Wilbur Scoville, who developed the Scoville Organoleptic Test in 1912 to measure the amount of capsaicin in a pepper. The rating is expressed in Scoville Heat Units (SHU), with higher numbers indicating a higher level of spiciness. **

100,000 Scoville is considered very hot. To put it into perspective, a jalapeño pepper typically ranges from 2,500 to 8,000 Scoville units, so 100,000 Scoville is significantly hotter than a jalapeño. It would be similar in heat to some of the hotter varieties of habanero peppers. This level of heat can be quite intense and may be too much for some people to handle. **

Yes, 21 million Scoville is considered extremely high on the Scoville scale, which measures the spiciness or heat of chili peppers and other spicy foods. To put it into perspective, the Carolina Reaper, one of the hottest chili peppers in the world, averages around 1.6 million Scoville units. Therefore, 21 million Scoville is exceptionally hot and not recommended for those who are not accustomed to extremely spicy foods. **

The Scoville scale measures the heat level of chili peppers and other spicy foods. It is based on the concentration of capsaicin, the compound responsible for the heat sensation. The scale is determined through a series of taste tests in which a panel of tasters samples a solution of the pepper extract and sugar water in increasing dilutions until the heat is no longer detectable. The level of dilution at which the heat is no longer detectable is then assigned a value on the Scoville scale, with higher values indicating a higher concentration of capsaicin and therefore a hotter pepper. **

Yes, a sausage with 3 million Scoville would be extremely dangerous to consume. Scoville units measure the spiciness or heat of a chili pepper, and 3 million Scoville is an extremely high level of heat. Consuming something with that level of spiciness could cause severe discomfort, pain, and even physical harm to the digestive system. It is important to exercise caution when consuming foods with such high levels of spiciness. **

At 9,000,000 Scoville, the body experiences intense pain, burning, and inflammation. The capsaicin, the compound responsible for the heat in chili peppers, overwhelms the pain receptors in the body, causing a severe burning sensation. This level of heat can lead to sweating, increased heart rate, and difficulty breathing as the body tries to cool down and cope with the extreme heat. Additionally, consuming such a high level of capsaicin can cause gastrointestinal distress and potential damage to the stomach lining. **

The price of a bottle of schnapps with 400,000 Scoville can vary depending on the brand, quality, and location of purchase. On average, a bottle of high-quality schnapps with 400,000 Scoville can cost anywhere from $20 to $50. It is recommended to check with local liquor stores or online retailers for specific pricing information. **

A typical red chili pepper has around 2,500 to 8,000 Scoville units. The level of spiciness can vary depending on the specific type of chili pepper. Some varieties, like the Carolina Reaper, can have Scoville units exceeding 2 million, making them extremely hot. **
